A road test is
relatively easy to pass, however, getting a perfect
score requires practicing the skills you are learning in the
car until they become automatic. Anything that happens on a
test that is not routine will cause the student to revert to
their habits.
Since what we are
really trying to accomplish is developing drivers that are
capable of successfully avoiding the mistakes of others over
the course of the next 60 - 70 years we have decided to
offer an incentive to anyone who is willing to put in the
time and effort needed to master the essential skills
If you are willing to
learn and practice what is being presented by the instructor
in the car until you develop the habits required to safely
navigate traffic over the course of your driving career and
subsequently achieve a perfect score on your first
road test at the DMV we will reward you by returning up to
$50.00 of your in-car tuition.
AMOUNT OF REBATE
The difficulty of the
Skills test varies from one DMV location to another because
of the type of roads, intersections in the area and the
resulting amount of traffic. For example, in Elkhorn there
are no uncontrolled intersections, no place to make a lane
change and the applicants (because there are few cars parked
on the street) rarely are required to parallel park.
